Change the world – one menstrual cup at a time
Periods aren’t always easy – but in many parts of the world, they are much harder than here. Access to menstrual products is limited, and the options available are often expensive. This forces many to use leaves, strips of cloth, or rags, which carry a high risk of infection and constant leakage.
In several countries, menstruation is also highly taboo, causing thousands of girls to miss school every month. Ultimately, this leads to lost education – and lost future opportunities.
That’s why we started MonthlyCup.
We wanted to do something that truly changes lives, and since our launch, we have distributed over 20,000 menstrual cups to various projects worldwide.
For us, it is crucial that the distribution is done the right way. That’s why we always require our cups to be combined with education, so recipients gain knowledge about their bodies, menstruation, and how to use a menstrual cup. Myths and taboos don’t disappear on their own – the right information really makes a difference.
Together with dedicated volunteers and organizations, we have carried out successful projects in Nepal, Senegal, India, Kenya, Gambia, Tanzania, and Uganda. Every time a girl can stay in school thanks to a menstrual cup, we make a difference.
